Bango (AIM: BGO), the mobile web payments and analytics company, announced on 21 May 2012 that Peter Saxton, Bango's CFO, had notified the Board of Bango of his wish to retire, on a schedule to be agreed with the Board that will ensure an orderly hand-over to a new CFO. This process is ongoing and is expected to be completed by November 2012. As part of his financial planning for his retirement, Peter Saxton has today exercised options over 236,327 ordinary shares of 20p each ("Ordinary Shares") and has subsequently sold a total of 386,701 Ordinary Shares at a price of 179.5p per share.

Following the disposal, Mr. Saxton has interests in 74,626 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.18% of the total issued share capital, and has vested options over a further 384,931 Ordinary Shares.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 236,327 Ordinary Shares ("New Ordinary Shares") issued pursuant to the option exercise, which will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue, to be admitted to trading on AIM, and admission is expected to become effective on 29 August 2012.

Bango's total issued share capital after the admission of the New Ordinary Shares will be 41,408,779 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not currently hold any shares in treasury. This figure of 41,408,779 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in Bango as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
