Begbies Traynor Group PLC24 May 2007 24 May 2007 Begbies Traynor Group plc - Trading Update Begbies Traynor Group plc ('BTG' or 'the Group') - AIM 'BEG' Trading Update prior to release of Prelims Prior to announcing its preliminary results for the year to 30 April 2007,Begbies Traynor Group plc reports on its current trading. The Group will announce its preliminary results for the year ended 30 April 2007on Wednesday 4 July 2007, which are expected to meet market expectations. During 2007 the board has been progressing the Group strategy of building awidely based professional support services business and has made good progressin the process of identifying and penetrating several new service streams, bothby recruitment and acquisition. The UK market for business recovery activities remains static. Growth in thisdivision continues to rely on market share capture, through senior recruitmentand continued in-fill boutique acquisitions. However, we are very well placed totake advantage of a market upswing when it occurs. Personal insolvency remains a small part of our overall operations and, althoughwe have enjoyed good growth in Scotland, we have not expanded our activity southof the border as the market remains in flux. Once this market stabilises, wewill re-assess the opportunities which emerge. In Corporate Finance, we continue to expand our national reach and the resourcebase of our professional team. We have been particularly successful inrecruiting experienced and respected senior practitioners. Our international association 'Begbies Global Network' has had a successfullaunch and membership is rapidly increasing.
