Issue of Equity

On 11 May 2020 BMO Capital and Income Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") allotted 135,000 ordinary shares of 25p each from the Company's general corporate blocklisting facility at a price of 252.50p per share. The shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue and dealings are expected to commence on 13 May 2020.

Following this allotment, the Company has the ability to issue 7,257,000 ordinary shares under its blocklisting facility.

As a result of this allotment, the total number of ordinary shares in issue will stand at 105,809,268 and the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 105,809,268.

The above figure (105,809,268) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
