Compensation payment

A.G. BARR p.l.c., which produces and markets some of the UK's leading drinks brands, confirms that, following the previously communicated termination of its sale and distribution agreement with Rockstar Inc., the associated contractual compensation payment has now been received.

The payment, which amounts to £7.6m, will be treated as a one-off exceptional item in the current financial year accounts. 

Despite continued uncertainty associated with the COVID-19 pandemic the Company continues to trade in line with the most recent market guidance as communicated at the interim results in September.
