CHANGE IN BOARD OF DIRECTORS - AXIS BANK

This is to inform that Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has nominated its Managing Director, Shri A. K. Dasgupta, as Nominee Director in place of Shri R. B. L. Vaish and the Board of Directors of the Bank has in its meeting held today appointed Shri A. K. Dasgupta as an Additional Director of the Bank with immediate effect.

Shri R. B. L. Vaish has tendered his resignation as a Director on completion of his tenure as LIC Nominee and the Board of Directors has accepted the same with immediate effect that is with effect from 5th September, 2011.
