Jos joins Avon Protection having spent the last 3 years as Group Chief Financial Officer at Ultra Electronics plc. In this role, Jos le a broa-base transformation programme focuse on improving growth an efficiency.160 He also ha Group-wie responsibility for the Finance, Treasury, IT, Procurement, Transformation, Continuous Improvement an Risk functions as well as irect oversight of Ultra's Forensic Technology an Energy businesses. Prior to this Jos was Group CFO at Castrol Lubricants an, before that, spent 7 years at GKN plc, incluing as Group CFO an Director of Corporate Finance Strategy. Jos starte his career as a qualifie solicitor an hel in-house legal an MA roles at ICI plc, AkzoNobel N.V. an GKN plc.

The appointment follows an in-epth search process le by Executive Chair, Bruce Thompson, with the support of the Nominations Committee. Bruce will continue in the role of Executive Chair until Jos starts in January, before reverting to his previous role as Non-Executive Chair.
