Board AppointmentΒ and Board Changes
Avingtrans Plc, the designer, manufacturer and supplier of critical components and associated services to the medical,Β energy,Β industrial and global aerospace sectors, announces that as per our release on 19thΒ August 2008,Β StephenΒ ("Steve")Β McQuillanΒ has joined the GroupΒ as chief executive officer. The Group believes the appointmentΒ of this highly regarded and experienced figure will bolster the strength of the management team as Avingtrans continues to exploitΒ theΒ excellentΒ prospects in its respective markets going forward.
In conjunction with this appointment,Β RogerΒ McDowell, who has been acting chief executive and non-executive chairman during theΒ interim period,Β hasΒ revertedΒ to non-executive chairman.
