Board Appointment and Board Changes
Avingtrans Plc, the designer, manufacturer and supplier of critical components and associated services to the medical, energy, industrial and global aerospace sectors, announces that as per our release on 19th August 2008, Stephen ("Steve") McQuillan has joined the Group as chief executive officer. The Group believes the appointment of this highly regarded and experienced figure will bolster the strength of the management team as Avingtrans continues to exploit the excellent prospects in its respective markets going forward.
In conjunction with this appointment, Roger McDowell, who has been acting chief executive and non-executive chairman during the interim period, has reverted to non-executive chairman.
