Readybuy PLC07 July 2006 Readybuy plc Board appointments Readybuy plc (the "Company") announces the appointment of Daron Lee asnon-executive chairman and Professor Alastair Smith as a non-executive directorof the Company. The Company also announces the resignations of Colin Davies andKeith Salisbury with immediate effect. Daron Ross Lee (aged 39), commenced his career with stockbrokers Ashworth Sons &Barratt in 1987 before pursuing other opportunities within the family business.He then returned to stockbroking with WH Ireland Limited before establishingProquote Limited ("Proquote"), a business engaged in the provision of on-linestockmarket data and company information. Proquote was sold in February 2003 tothe London Stock Exchange plc and Daron remained with Proquote as its managingdirector until the end of 2004. Since then Daron has pursued a number ofpersonal business interests. Daron Lee is interested in 15,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in thecapital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 12.06 per cent. of theissued ordinary share capital of the Company, and warrants to subscribe for7,500,000 Ordinary Shares. Professor David Alastair Maclaughlin Smith (aged 39), is a director of AvactaLimited, Avacta Analytical Limited and TT123 Limited. During the past fiveyears he has also been a director of Hebden Lodge Hotel Company Limited. He hasa degree and PhD in Physics from Manchester University and, after working in theUS for a period, took up a position at Leeds University in 1995. Alastair hasspent the last 10 years developing new biophysical technologies and applyingthem to problems in structural molecular biology. At the age of 38 he wasawarded a Chair of Molecular Biophysics for this work and he also holds theDirectorship of the Institute of Molecular Biophysics at Leeds University.
