Appointment of Director

Capital Lease Aviation Plc (LSE: CLA), the aircraft leasing company, today announces the appointment of Richard Wolanski to the CLA board. Richard Wolanski is joining the board as an Avation representative and is a non executive director.

Richard Wolanski, aged 43, has over 12 years experience in senior finance roles, having been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Comdek Ltd in 2002. Between 2007 and 2012 he served as Managing Director of Speewah Metals Ltd, and also served as Managing Director of NT Resources Ltd between 2008 and 2011. Since 2011 he has been serving as Non-Executive Director of My ATM Holdings Ltd. Since 2013 he has been serving as Finance Director of Avation PLC.

Commenting on the appointment, Jeff Chatfield, Executive Chairman, said:

"We are delighted to welcome Richard to the CLA Board. Richard brings to this role valuable knowledge from his previous senior finance positions and in particular his experience as Finance Director at Avation PLC. While being an outstanding candidate the appointment is also a consequence of the increased level of shareholding of Avation PLC in the shares of CLA."
