APPOINTMENT OF ADVISOR

The Board of Aurora Russia Limited ("Aurora Russia" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Henderson-Stewart as Advisor to the Company.

Nicholas Henderson-Stewart is an Anglo-Belgian national and has spent the last 13 years working as a private equity professional in Russia and CIS countries. Nicholas has invested in a number of businesses in Russia including Detroit Investments Limited - a private equity company focused on the Russia/CIS drinks sector, Sontsa Detergents - a private detergents producer in Belarus and Russia and Raketa - Russia's only authentic watches and fashion brand.

Under the terms of the Agreement, which is subject to English Law and which may be terminated by either party on six months' notice any time after effective commencement, the Advisor will assist the Board in managing, monitoring and realising the Company's residual investments. This will include representing the Company on Investee company boards if so requested by Aurora Russia Board, assistance with certain administrative functions and the provision of financial information, including management accounts, and other relevant information on the Investee companies.

Fees payable to the Advisor comprise a modest annual fee. In addition the Advisor will obtain a commission of 2 per cent of any payment made by the Company to its shareholders (whether by way of dividends, capital return, share buy backs or otherwise) during the term of the agreement.

The Board of Aurora Russia is pleased to have engaged the Advisor's services which it believes will strongly support the Company's objective to maximise returns from the Company's remaining assets and assist with the management of the Company and its assets in the Interim on a cost effective basis.
