Augean Plc08 December 2005 8th December 2005 Augean Plc ("Augean" or "the Company) Planning Permission granted at King's Cliffe landfill site At the time of our fundraising in December 2004 the prospectus referred tocertain planning issues that had to be regularised. Your directors wereconfident at the time that these issues would be resolved. Your directors are pleased to announce that not only has the planning permissionnow been formally granted but that Augean has also been granted additionalplanning permission at its King's Cliffe hazardous waste landfill site. This hasbeen granted to enable the Company to extend the site to provide storage forsoils and restoration materials. The Company will also construct on the site a new hazardous waste input facilityfor the testing and inspection of hazardous waste streams, and a new regionaloffice will be established on site. Augean applied for this additional planning permission in June 2005, and thechanges to the site will commence imminently. This permission, granted byNorthamptonshire County Council, confirms Augean's tenure at the site foroperations until 2013.John Huntington, CEO of Augean plc said: ''We are delighted with the new permission which confirms our commitment to thedevelopment of our facilities, in line with the new legislation.
