Update Regarding EGM Requisition Notice

EMED Mining Public Limited, the Europe-based minerals development and exploration company, provides the following update in relation to its discussions with Urion Holdings (Malta) Limited, a subsidiary of Trafigura Beheer B.V., who currently holds 19.35% of the issued share capital of the Company (the "Proposing Shareholder"). As announced on 17 November 2014, the Company and the Proposing Shareholder agreed to extend the time period for calling the extraordinary general meeting ("EGM") set out in the Proposing Shareholder's requisition notice to 20 December 2014.

The Company wishes to confirm that discussions with the Proposing Shareholder and other key stakeholders regarding the EGM and further funding remain ongoing and further updates will be made as appropriate.
