EMED Mining, the Europe-based minerals development and exploration company, is focused primarily on the restart of production at the Rio Tinto Mining District in Andalucia, Spain, the main metals of which are copper, zinc and precious metals. The Company is at an advanced stage of permitting the restart of its first mining operation there, the Cerro Colorado Open Pit, which will yield copper and silver. EMED Mining has also made a significant gold discovery in Slovakia and is a 15% shareholder in KEFI Minerals plc, which is exploring for precious metals in particular in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and surrounding region.
