Bumi plc ("Bumi" or the "Company")

Shareholder Circular Update

The circular to shareholders relating to the proposed transaction to effect the separation of the Company from the Bakrie Group and PT Bumi Resources Tbk is in the process of being finalised and, subject to these final points being agreed, is expected to be distributed to shareholders next week. An EGM is expected to take place in early December. The circular will contain updated information regarding the expected completion date.
