Trading update
The Board of Arden publishes the following trading update ahead of its Interim Results for the six months ended 30 April 2011, which are scheduled to be announced on 5 July 2011.
In the first six months of the current financial year, the Company has seen a strong performance both in its core UK business and Indian franchise. The corporate finance pipeline is good but as always delivery is dependent on market conditions. Should the Company continue trading at current levels, and assuming the pipeline can be delivered, it is likely that the pre-tax profit for the year ending 31 October 2011 will be significantly ahead of current market expectations. The balance sheet remains strong with good cash balances.
