API Group PLC30 March 2007 30 March 2007 API GROUP PLC APPOINTMENT OF GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR API Group plc, the specialist packaging company, announced today the appointmentof Andrew Robertson (49) as Group Finance Director. Mr Robertson, FCA, who will join the Board on 1 April, has extensive experienceof financial management in international manufacturing businesses havingpreviously held senior roles at a number of well known companies includingLaporte plc, Jardine Insurance Brokers and Laird Group plc. Prior to joiningAPI, he was for ten years Group Finance Director of Pemco International BV, anindustrial coatings group with world-wide operations. Mr Robertson is a Fellowof the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Association ofCorporate Treasurers. Commenting on the appointment, Richard Wright, the Non-executive Chairman ofAPI, said: "Andrew has an excellent record in senior finance roles and a wealth of relevantexperience to bring API, having operated in many of the Group's major marketsincluding Europe, North America and the Far East. The Board is delighted towelcome him as a director and member of the executive management team."
