Update
On Friday afternoon the United States Federal District Court Judge to whom St. Jude Medical's subsidiary, Pacesetter's, case against Aortech is assigned, revised the briefing schedule imposed by the court's rules and standing orders to delay the due date of Aortech's response to Pacesetter's motion for a restraining order and later an injunction. Aortech's brief is now due at the close of the court day in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday October 23rd. Pacesetter's reply is due 2 days later. In the meantime no restraint has been imposed on Aortech by the court. Pacesetter had sought immediate restraint when it filed its motion.
