AorTech International plc ("the Company" or "AorTech")Directorate Change

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Eddie McDaid as Finance Director of the Company with immediate effect. Eddie was previously a non-executive director of the Company.

Eddie is a Chartered Accountant and was one of the co-founders of AorTech in 1992. Until the year 2002 Eddie had served as Chief Executive and latterly Chairman of the company. Eddie re-joined the Board of AorTech as non-executive director in 2005. Prior to 1992 Eddie worked in various firms of Chartered Accountants, latterly as partner in PKF Chartered Accountants and finally as partner in McDaid & Partners Chartered Accountants, a firm he founded.

Eddie was also one of the co-founders of Parklane property group and served as Chief Executive of that group for a number of years. In addition, Eddie currently holds a role as non-executive director of two Parklane companies, which are private companies involved in property and land development.

Frank Maguire, Chief Executive of the Company, commented: "Eddie McDaid has been of great help to the AorTech Board over the past few years and his contributions have been instrumental during this period of transition. This appointment formalizes a role he has taken on with increasing energy and involvement as the business has grown and prepares itself for the next chapter."
