Aortech International Plc was notified that the McDaid Family Pension Scheme, of which Eddie McDaid the Finance Director of the Company is a beneficiary, purchased 25,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 85 pence per Ordinary Share on 9th October 2013.

 Following this transaction Mr. McDaid is now has a beneficial interest in 358,914 Ordinary Shares representing 7.43 per cent. of the total voting rights in the Company.
