AO World plc (the "Company")
Director / PDMR Shareholding
AO World plc announces that it received notification yesterday that on 1 March 2021 John Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, exercised options over 20,224 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 89p per share pursuant to the Company's Sharesave Scheme (2018 grant). As a result of this transaction, John Roberts' beneficial holding is 108,957,681* Ordinary Shares representing 22.73% of the current issued share capital of the Company.
The Company further announces that it also received notification yesterday that on 1 March 2021 Mark Higgins, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, exercised options over 20,224 Ordinary Shares at a price of 89p each pursuant to the Company's Sharesave Scheme (2018 grant) and has subsequently sold 10,112 Ordinary Shares at a price of 281.8p per share. As a result of these transactions, Mark Higgins beneficial holding is 95,448 Ordinary Shares representing 0.2% of the current issued share capital of the Company.
(*holding includes 882,350 Ordinary Shares held by Sally Roberts, a person with whom John is closely associated, but excludes Ordinary Shares held by Crystalcraft Limited, a company of which he is a director and shareholder)
