Anglo Platinum Limited29 April 2008 Department of Minerals and Energy grants new order mining rights conversions to Anglo Platinum Anglo Platinum is pleased to announce the granting of new order mining rightsover the following Anglo Platinum mining operations: Rustenburg - 8 licencesAmandelbult - 1 licenceUnion - 2 licencesLebowa - 2 licencesMogalakwena - 1 licenceTwickenham - 1 LicenceDer Brochen (including Mototolo) - 1 licence In 2007 approximately 85% of Anglo Platinum's refined platinum output originatedfrom mining areas covered by the converted mining rights. The applications for conversion of mineral rights associated with AngloPlatinum's 50:50 joint ventures with Royal Bafokeng Resources and the AfricanRainbow Minerals consortium continue and are being processed based on jointsubmissions and representations by all stakeholders.
