Directors Dealings
In terms of paragraph 3.63 - 3.74 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the following information is disclosed in respect of the acquisition of Anglo Platinum ordinary shares by a non-executive director of Anglo Platinum on 31 July 2008:

Number of shares acquired: 11 572
Nominal price per share acquired: R965-00
Total value: R11 166 980
Extent of director's interest: Direct beneficial
The shares have been acquired through a black economic empowerment (BEE) transaction with Lereko Investment Holdings, entered into in 2004 before Mr. Moosa became an Anglo Platinum director, (such shares having been held in trust by the RPM Waterval Empowerment Trust on behalf o the beneficiaries, including Mr. Moosa), which served to facilitate the acquisition by Anglo Platinum of mining rights for Waterval Section as part of the Rustenburg Platinum Mines Operation. Conditions precedent now having been met pertaining to the transaction, the shares are being transferred to the beneficiaries of the Empowerment Trust.
Prior written approval in terms of paragraph 3.66 of the Listings Requirements has been obtained.
