Brockham Operations Update

Angus Energy (AIM: ANGS) is pleased to announce that the Brockham work programme continues as planned with a slight modification in the order of stage 1 operations. The decision was taken earlier this week by operatives on site to perforate the well before isolating the water, in order to allow greater certainty that we have identified the water zone before plugging. It has not caused any delays and no additional approvals were required for this minor change in operational activity.

The work programme at Brockham is proceeding as per the schedule described in our 3 April 2019 announcement which allocated 19 working days for this stage of the programme. Work is still expected to complete, as scheduled on Tuesday 7th May.

Work commenced three days earlier than expected on April 9th and our planning consent only permits us to work until midday on Saturdays (half days) and not at all on Sundays or Bank Holidays. Therefore there was no work carried out at all between Friday 19th and Monday 22nd and there will be no work carried out on Monday 6th May.

Andrew Hollis, the Technical Director of the Company, who has over 40 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, has approved the information contained in this announcement. Mr Hollis is a Fellow of the Geological Society and member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
