Chaco Resources PLC11 June 2007 11th June 2007 Chaco Resources plc ('Chaco' or 'the Company') Exercise of Options Chaco Resources plc (soon to be renamed Amerisur Resources plc), the oil and gas explorer and developer focused in SouthAmerica, announces that on 8 June 2007, John Morris, formerly a non-executive director of the Company, exercised an option to acquire 1,000,000 ordinary shares at 2.16p. Application has been made for the shares to be admitted to AIM, with trading expected to commence on 14 June 2007 ("Admission"). Upon Admission, the shares will rank pari passu in allrespects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company. Following this exercise, Mr Morris will not have a disclosable interest in the share capital of the Company and has no further option rights.
