Hambledon Mining plc ("Hambledon Mining" or "Company") (AIM: HMB), the Kazakhstan gold mining and development company, announces that Nicholas Bridgen, a non-executive director of the Company, agreed to sell (conditional on receipt of funds) 88,448,936 ordinary shares of the Company on 26 September 2012 at 1.8p per share. Mr Bridgen is selling these shares to enable him to honour his obligations arising from his divorce settlement.

Following completion of the above sale, Mr Bridgen will no longer hold any interest in the issued ordinary share capital of the Company and will continue to act as a non-executive director of the Company.
