Board Appointment
Allocate Software plc (AIM: ALL), the leading provider of workforce and compliance optimisation solutions, has appointed Lynn Drummond (53) as a Non-Executive Director. She will join the board with effect from 1 November 2012.
Dr. Drummond has a strong track record within the life sciences sector, bringing over twenty years of management and advisory experience. Lynn spent 16 years at Rothschild in London most recently as a Managing Director within the investment banking division, with a particular focus on transactions within the healthcare sector. Prior to this she worked in the Cabinet Office in London as Private Secretary to the Chief Scientific Advisor. Lynn is also a non-executive director of Consort Medical plc and Alimentary Health Ireland.
Dr. Drummond holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of London. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

She does not currently hold any ordinary shares in Allocate Software plc.
There is no further information in connection with the appointment of Dr Drummond to the Board of Directors which is required to be disclosed in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
