SHAREHOLDER UPDATE

As previously communicated on July 3rd, the Board anticipates that ALF will receive funds for distribution prior to the end of August. The Board will then determine the distributable amount and expect this to occur in September. By that time the Board expects to have additional information with respect to the remain RJ Fund tranches and the monetisation of the Eletrobras claim. Based on that the Board will consult with and provide recommendations to shareholders with regard to the timing of the managed wind down and the continuation of the Company.

We would like to re-iterate that this timeline and recovery estimates previously communicated are predicated on current information and uncertainties remain.
