ENDOWMENT FUND PROPOSAL WITHDRAWN

In light of current market volatility in connection with the war in Ukraine and after considered deliberation, Waverton Investment Management Limited ("Waverton") has decided not to proceed with the launch of a new share class for Alternative Liquidity Fund Limited (the "Company"). Therefore the Board of the Company will not proceed with the change of company name to The Endowment Fund Limited and the adoption of the proposed investment strategy for the new share class. All costs associated with the proposed fundraising were underwritten by Waverton and existing shareholders in the Company will not incur any expenses or liabilities in this respect.

The Company will continue with its existing investment policy and realisation strategy and will continue to be advised by Hindsight Solutions Limited in the execution of that strategy. However, the Board will examine the options available to the Company to accelerate the continuing managed wind-down of the current portfolio within a specified time frame and will propose to and discuss with Shareholders the adoption of a designated realisation date and such necessary changes as may be required to the Company's investment policy.
