Directorate appointment
AIREA is delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Toogood, 62, as a non-executive director of the Group with effect from 1 April 2009. Martin has considerable experience at executive and non-executive level, most recently with ILVA in Scandinavia & the UK, B&Q in the UK, Carpetright in the UK & Europe and Habitat in the UK & internationally.
Martin has held a number of Senior Executive positions in the retail sector which include:
ILVA/AS Chairman & Chief Executive 2003-2007
Kingfisher Plc Chief Executive - General Merchandise 2000-2001
B&Q UK Chief Executive 1998-2000
Managing Director B&Q Plc 1997-1998
During his time as Chief Executive of B&Q the company received the "Retailer of the Year" and "Retail Employer of the year" awards from Retail Week. Between 2001 & 2003 Martin worked with a number of private equity houses on the acquisition of various retail organisations in Europe.

Mr Toogood was a director of Signpost Ventures Limited which was dissolved in 2002.
There are no further disclosures required to be made in respect of Mr Toogood with regard to Schedule 2(g) of the AIM rules.
