DIRECTORATE CHANGE

AIB Group plc and Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. (together the "Group" or "AIB") announces that Ms Helen Normoyle will not be putting herself forward for re-election as a Director at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 1 May 2025 and will step down as a Director at the conclusion of that meeting, having served just over nine years on the Board.

The Chair, Mr Jim Pettigrew, said:

"I want to pay tribute to Helen who is the longest-serving Director on the Board. She has made a very significant contribution to the Board and to the Group since her original appointment in December 2015. During her time she has served on the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, the Technology and Data Advisory Committee and has very ably chaired the Sustainable Business Advisory Committee since its establishment, and through this has been instrumental in establishing AIB's strong credentials in this area. Helen was appointed as Senior Independent Director on 1 July 2022.

On behalf of the Board and the Group, I wish to record our sincere gratitude for her commitment, insights and contributions over the past number of years and wish her the very best for the future."
