CarieScan expands distribution capability with further appointments in the USA and for the first time, Russia
3D announces that its subsidiary CarieScan Limited ("CarieScan" or the "Company), a leading provider of Integrated Caries Management Support Systems ("CMSS"), has continued to expand its distribution capability with the agreement of heads of terms with Henry Schein, Inc. for the distribution of the Company's Caries Management Support System in the USA. 3D also announces the appointment of I.T.Stom as its exclusive distributor within Russia.
CMSS comprises the CarieScan PRO, a handheld device for the early detection of tooth decay, and RemoteView, a software package which captures data gathered by the CarieScan PRO for instant display on a PC screen and for recall at a later date, allowing monitoring of the progression or regression of disease. The CMSS enables the comprehensive monitoring of tooth decay and the efficacy of the treatment being applied to treat the condition. The Directors believe the system is the world's first integrated caries management system.

I.T.Stom, Russia
I.T.Stom (previously known as Medinfodent) was founded in 1992 and is a well known brand in Russia. It has grown to become a successful player in the dentistry market by distributing the latest dental technology. The company operates its own dental clinic and private education centre in Moscow.

Working wirelessly with the CarieScan PRO, all data (Tooth Number, Site Information and measurement results) are captured and displayed in a number of available formats. Once captured, data is available for review and forms part of a monitoring record. Disease progression and regression can easily be monitored. All CarieScan PRO units are shipped with a Bluetooth dongle enabling any XP/Vista/Windows 7 PC to communicate with the PRO. The CarieScan Caries Monitoring System is the first dedicated wireless monitoring system.
