ADVFN launches new state-of-the-art stock charts for private investors

ADVFN teams up with TradingView to provide best HTML5 charts on the webADVFN (LSE:AFN) has added advanced HTML 5 charting and tools to the ADVFN site - www.advfn.com, powered by TradingView.

Customers of the global financial website can now access free, user-friendly and fully customizable charts with more than 60 indicators and technical analysis (TA) studies. The new charts no longer require users to install Java and also work on smartphones and tablets.

Anyone using ADVFN can view full screen charts, compare multiple stocks on the same chart with just a click, and view as a bar, candlestick, hollow candle, line, area or Heikin Ashi line chart. A vast range of drawing objects can be added such as: Pitchfork, Pitchfan, Gann Box, Gann Fan, Fibonacci Retracement, Fibonacci Speed Resistance Fan, Fibonacci Circles, XABCD pattern, Three Drivers Pattern and Elliot Wave Subminuette. In addition, users can retrace bar patterns on charts and modify all the coordinates as well as the style.

The charts also enable traders and investors to set an entry point and assume a long or short position from that point. They can also place an entry and an exit price for a trade to help define a trade's duration by extending the forecast line.

For the social media aficionados, emoticons can be added and charts can be Tweeted in a click.

Registered users can access the charts simply by going to www.advfn.com, clicking the 'Chart' tab and selecting 'TradingView Chart'.

"ADVFN has provided a comprehensive charting package to global private investors for many years. We continuously strive to enhance our offering and teaming up with TradingView enables us to provide best on the web stock charts," said Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN.

"We are very happy to partner with ADVFN. It's a solid business and a premier provider of financial information that thousands of individual investors worldwide rely on. Working with ADVFN enables us to improve the user experience for these private investors," said Stan Bokov, COO at TradingView.
