Dawnay, Day Carpathian PLC09 August 2007 Dawnay, Day Carpathian PLC ("DDC" or the "Company") Interim Dividend The board of DDC has declared that the first interim dividend of 3.33p per sharein respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2007 will be paid on 28September 2007. The record date is 4 May 2007. The new ordinary shares in the Company issued in accordance with the placing inMay 2007 do not qualify for the first interim dividend but they will qualify forany further dividends, including the one remaining interim dividend, togetherwith the final dividend for the financial year ended 31 December 2007, which isintended to result in an aggregate dividend payment of 10p per share for thatfinancial year.
