Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC30 March 2007 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company hereby announces a transfer of shares was approved today in respectof 5,000 Ordinary shares of 4p in the capital of the Company held by Albemarle& Bond Trustee Limited ("the Trustee") as Trustee of the Albemarle & BondPawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust ("the ESOP"). Following the exercise of options by an employee of the Company ("the Employee")on 30 March 2007 at an exercise price of 74.5p per share and the transferapproved pursuant to the exercise of 5,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each held bythe Trustee to the Employee, the Trustee now holds 348,250 Ordinary shares inthe capital of the Company which is equivalent to 0.74% of the Company's issuedshare capital.
