Abbey PLC Trading Update
For the year ending 30th April 2019 Abbey Plc has completed 579 house sales (UK 511, Ireland 36, Czechia 32). The comparative figures for the previous year were 606 house sales (UK 524, Ireland 75, Czechia 7).
Group turnover for the year was ahead of last year however, lower margins mean operating profit will be lower than last year. This trend of falling margins seems set to continue in the current year. Forward sales for the group are good.
Full year results should be published in the week beginning 8 July 2019.
