Total Voting Rights

Following the issue of shares as announced on 8 June 2012, the total issued share capital of the Company has increased to 111,397,307 ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company holds no shares in treasury, therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 111,397,307.

The above figure may be used by shareholders in Anglo Asian as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Anglo Asian Mining plc (AIM:AAZ) is a gold producer in Central Asia with a broad portfolio of production and exploration assets in Azerbaijan. The Company has a 1,962 sq km prospective exploration portfolio, assembled on the back of analysis of historic Soviet geological data and held under a Production Sharing Agreement ('PSA') based on the Azeri oil industry. The Company developed Azerbaijan's first operating gold/copper mine, Gedabek, which commenced gold production in May 2009. Gold production for the year ended 31 December 2011 totalled 57,068 oz of gold.
