Anglo Asian Mining plc ('Anglo Asian' or 'the Company')

Exercise of Options

Anglo Asian Mining plc, the AIM listed emerging gold producer, announces that 350,000 options have been exercised into new ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') in Anglo Asian at an exercise price of 4.75p per share by an employee of the Company.

Application has been made for the 350,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to occur on 11 December 2009.

The Company's Total Voting Capital following the admission of the new Ordinary Shares will be 106,744,297 Ordinary Shares.

Anglo Asian Mining plc (AIM:AAZ) is an emerging gold producer in Central Asia with a broad portfolio of production and exploration assets in Azerbaijan.
