New Office Location The move from the port of Izmir to the capital Ankara has become necessary toimprove efficiency as we expand. The relocation brings the Company closer to thegrowing mining and exploration community in Turkey and to the various governmentagencies with which the Company communicates most frequently, including theDepartment of Energy and Natural Resources, Department of the Environment andForestry, General Directorate of Mining Affairs, and the General Directorate ofMineral Research and Exploration (MTA). Appointment of Licence Manager Mr. Bulent Yilmaz has been appointed as Licence Manager to the Company and isresponsible for managing the administrative and legal requirements ofexploration/operational licences, applications and formal reporting forlicences, in addition to organising environmental and other operational permitsfor our advanced projects. He is a Mining Engineer by profession, havinggraduated from Dokuz Eylul University in 1992. After spending his early careeron several open-pit and underground mining operations for Turkish companies, hespent four years with the Turkish subsidiary of Anatolia Minerals DevelopmentLtd. as a licence and permits manager. In addition to replacing our consultant Licence Manager, this appointment alsosatisfies legal requirements for a Mining Engineer to oversee activities onoperational licences held by the Company. The appointment represents asignificant increase in efficiency and operational streamlining for licence andpermit administration by the Company in Turkey.
