CLOSE ENTERPRISE VCT PLC

VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's provisions we would like to notify the market of the following:

Close Enterprise VCT PLC's capital as at 30 May 2008 consists of 19,793,147 Ordinary shares and 10,567,738 new Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 50p. Close Enterprise VCT PLC does not hold any shares in Treasury.

The figure of 30,360,885 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, Close Enterprise VCT PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
