Peabody and Catalyst merger
Peabody Capital Plc, Peabody Capital No.2 Plc, Catalyst Housing Limited
Peabody and Catalyst are pleased to announce that their merger process is complete.
Catalyst Housing Limited and its subsidiaries have joined together with the Peabody Group, creating an organisation with 104,000 homes and around 220,000 customers in London and the home counties. They join initially as a subsidiary with the intention to move to full integration by April 2023.
Lord Kerslake is the Chair for the new organisation and Ravi Rajagopal is the Vice-Chair. The newly combined organisation is led by Ian McDermott, with Sarah Thomas taking up the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Informed by feedback from colleagues and customers the new organisation's priorities will focus on:
· Getting the basics right, including providing an effective repairs service, investing in homes, and introducing a new locality model to provide simple and easy access to services.
· Developing the approach to customer engagement, involvement and co-production
· Putting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the core of Peabody's culture
· Going further and faster on building safety and sustainability, developing new affordable homes, continuing placemaking and regeneration activities, and investing in communities and care and support services
