Reputations are definitely on the line. But more importantly massive potential revenues. And even more importantly, human life. Remember Al's words from earlier this year, he made it very clear that Avacta would definitely not be going after Covid tests if he didn't think they would be gold standard. Equally, Avacta would not be going after the tests if they didn't think they would be brought to market. So Al's and Avacta's reputation one way or another will be built or potentially burnt for a long time to come depending on the lfd. Reputations, significant future revenues and the UK economy are all very closely connected.

Ultimately Avacta's existence is based on improving lives and for the sheer effort to date, Al's reputation looks pretty good so far.

I wasn't expecting much to change during October tbh. National mass spec drive through Falcon only started a few weeks ago which to me means several test will be studied jointly not just Bams end to end. I'm not expecting news on Bams for at least 2 - 3 weeks.

As for LFD, most here will be twitchy as they're expecting a significant spike on news. I'm happy with a stable £2.5 sp by end of year. Tech transfer has to complete and it will. If we don't hear anything in the next 3 weeks would make for an interesting time on this board... For now, chill, no reason to be concerned.

On the negative reasons, BAMS is already being sold by Adeptrix so makes it much less likely to fail validation. And wouldn't be good for a lot of parties involved if BBI give up, just too much at stake - perhaps tech transfer will take longer but giving up really is extreme.
