Agree Doh whilst on the other hand there are those that are saying £15sp in weeks. Yes there's absolutely every possibility that Avacta will make every difference in a fight against this Pandemic. In doing so it will prosper. This is a very high risk share and is being constantly ramped as though there's zero risk. What is the mcap of the biggest AIM company? Be positive, be excited but let's also be realistic.

I'm going to be far more conservative and dream of £4 by end of Q1. That's over £1billion mcap.

I could get slated for this and fair enough but people are taking their eyes off the IND filing and what I refer to as the the real play at Avacta. I'm saying this now as some will criticise the mere mention of the therapeutics pipiline considering recent events and the over promise under deliver by Al on all things Covid so far.

Covid profits I believe are intended for reinvestment into therapeutics. Bringing drugs to market costs hundreds of millions.

For all the recent ramping and pumping done here, Rouane are in for the cancer drugs. Major investment will be needed over the next x years. Avacta ain't going anywhere fast and in conclusion as we approach an inflection point (ind filing and human trials), the main inflection points are normally stage II and III trials which are someway out in the future.

This is a medium to long term investment. Best to get used to the idea and take the daily stress out of this. Many invested here are not thinking long term which will only increase the volitility. How many here now would take £2.15p to cut and run? And best to remember that the therapy side of the business is a good backstop for the high risk covid diagnostics. Gla, I don't intend to lose a penny here so will patiently wait and see this through

They're also saying that as it's 90% effective, the vaccine won't be effective for 65m of the 650m. That's a BIG number of people thinking they've taken the vaccine but won't be protected.

In terms of the COVID-19 antigen test, there are antigen tests being developed all over the world. In order for a test to be competitive with the lateral flow test we are developing it must be able to be used as a self-test (as well as a professional test), must give results in minutes and not hours, be capable of being read by eye (and/ or smart phone app) and, strictly speaking, should be based on saliva as a sample (although nasal swab based tests are also competitive to a large extent). PCR is therefore not competitive, nor is any method that needs sophisticated laboratory-based equipment to process or read the test. Our view is that there is such a huge demand for rapid antigen testing that there could be many “competitive” tests launched and the demand would still likely out-strip supply, so we are not concerned about competition in the normal commercial sense in this case.
