For those who weren't around last night, we had another 'hack' by "goldfinger" or copperbox" or whoever, This tme he called himself Ouady and was very very offensive towards our very own Quady...and others. At times the language was completely explicit! I guess he has a dynaic Ip or a VPN which could be difficult for the LSE admin to filter. Poor old newtoit was in the middle of all this ranting and raving and so, this morning after LSE cleaned up....it looks like newtoit has been back on the bottle again ;)
I guess we may see this nutter again fairly soon. Shame really, for a while it destroyed this forum.

Anyway back to the show...........................

Red, CGP's BoD can't even stick to the original standstill agreement with BHP, nor their last offer day with Solg as being the 15th Oct. For some obscure reason Brooke kept saying the 19th October and PI's on the CGP BB say the same???
In addition there is still that prosecution hanging over them for them still continuing work @ Magdalena which is in a no mining territory.
They 'say' they are opening up on a several fronts shortly but they have $6m left. They own 15% of ENSA only after they have paid their costs towards the construction of the mine @ Cascabel. Until then they cannot lay claim to it. Those construction costs will be 15% of whatever it costs Solg to build it (currently estimated at circa $2.7Bn).
So in reality, all they have to offer prospective bidders is the 7.6% of shares they have in Solg. That is why no one is interested to date. Next week however could tip everything on its head.
Oct 14th Solg offer to CGP ends.
Oct 15th BHP's standstill ends.
If there is ever a time NOT to be out of Solg.....it's next week....

Hi Schlem, maybe because of too much data coming in from solgHQ. I also heard Meyer qute $4-5Bn for the construction of Alpala, which negates them as a solo entity going to production. Looking more and more like a Jv between more than one major and solg, or even just the former! [And the more discoveries they find, the less likely solg can do this on their own...you're looking @ mega billions to develop -as has been said recently, more than a single major can drum up].
Still pitching this stock to end the week @ 38.6p.
Next week, surely has to be the best show in town?

Mushroom, I've just read your reply and I can only apologise.
I have read and re-read my responses to mercs post and can only assume peeps on here don't want to hear any negativity whatsoever???
I had no intention of pi**ing on anyone's chips, none! I was only displaying caution.
When I see comments like "I'm all in" and "there is no better stock"...it brings back very bad memories of SXX and Qunindell. Both of which I was involved in at the time and both of which caused life changing trauma for some Pi's. One of the LTH's on SXX put his entire savings, pension and remortgaged his house to be "all in". God knows where he is now. Hundreds were wiped out in Quindell.
Sorry to all who recommended your post if I have in any way tarnished your dream investment.
I now know where I stand going fwd, don't I? I will endeavour to post without any negativity in future. Wow!

Evening Hydrogen - I wouldn't be knees deep in this stock if, in reality, and after having done dd, I found it to be a risk based on no MMRE! I have been buoyed all along by various results.
My concerns with these posts is that it is supporting/encouraging...chucking everything one has into a stock which seems safe! It might be, but a switched on investor NEVER EVER chucks everything on one spinning number for obvious reasons. Spreading the load is a cautious responsible strategy. Secondly...there are minnows out there as we speak who are the future GGP's of this world and if you choose not to be a part of that then more fool you. Careful controlled investing is a normal healthy activity, is all I am saying.

Now down to business: what's this baby opening at tomoz?

Listen - don't denigrate shareholders by using 'your' model of investing...please.
Give them some credibility eh? Take a look at anyones' posting record page and look at the diversification that's going on.
Let's not be so adamant that there is only one way.

Merc - please don't take this the wrong way.......I, too am in to this stock, knees deep but on paper, this stock hasn't even proved what is in the ground yet (Yes I know I'm being the devils advocate). On paper, this stock is atleast as risky as any others at this stage.
I think maybe there is room for spreading the load and one only has to listen to the distant echoes of the past with SXX and other aim stocks that went tits up along the way. I can hear people saying exactly what you have just said before they crashed and burned.
It's great being super confident but there are people on here who are so gullible, they take every word as fact..........
There are other 'miracles' otu there otherwise only GGP would exist as a success. They are in their embryonic stage and will become a staggering success......you can't see them yet ;)

I agree - not another RNS tomoz...perleeze! Todays was silly ...advertising the moving of a drilling rig to Hueca. So as I have said today there is a leak somewhere. Iceburg is also saying something similar....there's something moving in the long grass....and its not a snake!
Now if it's not an RNS and Hannam pushed out a broker update...and porvenir has been reported on.....................what could it be?
