Just thought I'd post the following to say not to let go of your shares too easily and not to obsess about 1p here and 1 p there. Someone copied this a few months ago - I can't say whether the claims are true or not but they are believable. I know this goes on though and a guy from a PR firm representing an AIM stock (currently trading) replied to my email basically saying let's rinse PI's a few more times with placings before letting it rise. He thought he was sending it to his city friend who had the same name as me. He practically begged me not to share his name which I never did (except with Doc Holliday who knows him).......To all genuine investors,
I lost my job today in a pay dispute so this is my payback for how I’ve been treated by my employer.
I work(ed) for a hedge fund in the City. There’s a team of 4 of us who sit across one desk in a serviced office. Our job is to hit this board daily with FUD posts to mislead investors and influence them to sell their shares. Depending on experience we get a base salary plus bonus for every % milestone that comes off the SP.
We have multiple accounts/identities split into 4 categories of characters we’ve created:
1. The blatant negative shorter who’s aim is to create negative subject headings and get them pushed to the top of the chat.
2 & 3. The wingmen who back up no.1 by being negative on the stock but with more substance around why.
4. The concerned holder who sways from being positive about the share to win trust before then losing faith and encouraging others to do the same.
Some of our aliases include:
1. Mister beck, Dr Long
2. 3. Phoebus (myself), jaffas, pearls,
4. Gatti, Muscles12, saby16, atrades, fudegrella30, fireant
We did laugh when genuine holders agreed with some of our posts and got bonused on confirmed sell ups such as Xenor and Matt007.
I’m not proud of what I’ve done but willing to blow the whistle to not harm any more people financially.
I would encourage all of you to screenshot this post in case they report it and get it taken down but I will try on multiple threads so that it stays here longer''''
That's the problem and that's what's been holding the share price back. It seems that Milholland will try to get a placing away at every opportunity. That means little chance of building shareholder value. Still if I was in his shoes guess I'd do the same
Even if Art does try to get another sneaky placing away it won't be at 20p. More likely to be 30p due to recent news. It'll then return to this level before moving northwards. You can see the big II money moving in on the late reported trades. Everyone will look back at this price in a year or two and think Why didn't I put more in. All IMO and I've been very negative on COPL in the past. I'm using these small dips to top-up as pretty sure some big II orders being filled in the background. Also, the Berkshire Hathaway from one of the posters here who claims to hold around 0.5% of shares in issue has me wondering (I know not to believe most things I read on here but this one might be true)
I don’t think this will ever list. It’s a poor idea poorly executed.
