It's probably been Milholland that's been selling some of his self-awarded share options to get the two hundred odd thousand he just "spent" buying shares i.e. it was really PI's who bought those shares for him via the latest share options award (yet another placing by any other name). The problem with this share is that he'll almost certainly do a placing into any moderate rise. So short of a JV announcement it's hard to see how this will ever rise much from current levels.
No he doesn’t have to pay for them. They’re share options. Only way he’d have to pay for them is if he wanted to turn them into shares usually after some vesting period. Normally you wouldn’t / couldn’t afford to do that. Instead you’d wait until price is much higher then pocket the difference between the option price and price you sell at without ever having to put your hand in your own pocket. They’re great for employees but this just looks like the senior management lining their own pockets to me.
Total looks like it’s wrong. No details of vesting. They’re diluting and essentially awarding themselves free money at PI’s expense. Only positive is that it puts a floor under the share price but I’d have liked to have seen the strike price much higher. They don’t have to deliver much to rake in money. Typical self serving Milholland.
Are you kidding? All KDR have done this past 10 years is apply for and get permits. It's not down to how many shares you hold. It's down to them finding commercially viable diamonds. So far they've found diddly squat and they've been looking for a decade.
He’s not even a professor in anything to do with mining except maybe mining your pockets. It’s not an investment it’s a gamble. It’s amazing they’ve managed to get any placing away in the past year or two. That rich family office went quiet all of a sudden. Think they realised what a dogs dinner it is. Money required pretty soon I’d think but who knows where it’ll come from
Exactly. The joke about Conroy going round the back of the shed with his bucket and spade once a year then putting out anRNS mentioning a different colour of garnet isn’t too far from the truth as far as I can see
It's incredible. KDR have been on the go for 16 years and generated no shareholder value (quite the opposite), a shareholder revolt, a handful of garnets and a few tiny diamonds. The performance has been woeful.
