OK I've just changed the story slightly as in funds raised will go towards contributors who can obtain paid services that benefit us all.

So if there are other ways of gleaning info we can use funds if it is useful to us.

Last time I transferred the funds to Puddy who do!ed it out. Always feels best to have another involved to ensure all is above board etc...
