Agree mole, I said the other day Ud2 and it's expectations was distracting us from Taribani which will be the foundations to build on and at a later date return to MK.

With Schlumberger drilling now too, any success there will carry over to us too I'd expect like happened with the Falkland oilies when Rockhopper struck oil...

Writing was on the wall when they started to perf higher up the well imo.... which now begs the question why are they going deeper with T39 and Niko?

Is it because 14/15 aren't flowing big numbers, or is it to test the deeper layers they know have already produced 960 bopd and use that as a milestone for the 2019 programme?

If the oil is flowing at the deeper levels then surely it makes more sense to go there first and when depleted go higher up to 19 then 15/14/13/9 then plug when done?

Yep, when a gold nugget like Geodave arrives there is panic in the ranks and Lulu was all over it like a rash trying to distract us away ...

Throw in Ud2 too that was re-entered on a shoestring and he has managed to get an old rickety well flowing gas for the first time in Georgian history...

Why would you feel nervous for Dustin? He's a drilling and completion expert and the drills in Taribani have all completed successfully and are flowing lots of oil and now gas too...I'd say he should be feeling quite chuffed actually...

Seems plausible PJ....were Schlumberger looking in and have decided to go new drills rather than rework an old soviet well for their maiden voyage after monitoring Ud2 at a close range?

At first I wasn't happy that they moved in, but now thinking about it, if they discover a commercial gas find then they are too big and powerful to be bullied about by a few Georgian politicians...they have clout....

In hindsight, Ud2 was an unnecessary distraction from the Taribani campaign. Imo lots of us put Taribani on the back seat and kept too much focus and faith on the gas at MK....

We need to have the company focussed on getting us into profit asap and getting shut of YA..both those things should happen by end of Q1 2019 or sooner. By then Niko should be tested and online too.

I still think some sort of deal could happen with the gas but I've now put all that to the back of my mind and just concentrating on the value building slowly but surely with the oil wells showing good success rates so far....

I think quite a few on here knew about Ud2 from before Xmas fg.....but were willing to allow them time to try and make it work from the vertical in situ. Alas it is going to take a new sidetrack but it’s worked in Taribani so should in MK too imo... Everyone’s welcome on here so long as they agree with me LMOA...

UD2 always a gamble and even a surprise to WHI however the gas is there, it just needs a new shiny well to get at it....Schlumberger anyone?

What was the significance of it? Was it a hidden message or something?
