any thoughts on what the SP will be after a YES vote . With current O&G prices I cannot see SQZ above £2.50, followed by a long period of drift to c£2.20 level. No science just my gut feel

Not only will we be paying well over the odds. Obviously Mercuria will support a healthy divi policy, so they can get paid again and again. No wonder they want a stock deal to help empty the bank and load SQZ up with dept. You have to hand it to them they have played a blinder.
Now where will the SP land, thats the next conundrum

F3 that is not the case, 50% + need to vote in favour. If you dont cast a vote, it is NOT counted as a "for" vote by default, be careful

No brainer as this price and how close we are to a potential deal, super low risk

Finishing line is in sight. Worse case we switch the lights off and at todays SP we get ~0.8p back.
However that will not happen. I'm happy to wait a few more months.
All the giddy kippers will then be trying to jump onboard soon and the SP will rise substantially. The deal will be a game changer for ORM and their investors

Not sure if the SP is going up in anticipation of a no deal or the market thinks its a good deal :-~

The voting requirements for passing resolutions at general meetings are:

More than 50% (a simple majority) of those attending and entitled to vote, for ordinary resolutions.

A no vote does not count as a "for" vote, so important to get your votes in

or we get nothing. Looks like PIs own majority of shares, so your vote is critical

to many with rose tinted glasses on. Any settlement was/is always going to be buttons (in relative terms) of what investors expect

Still not liking the dilution, still overpaying for NS assets against todays backdrop.

Think you will find its pennies not pounds per unit we will get. All adds up though

Institutions are unlikely to vote for this IMHO. They have access to the same information and unlikely to be hoodwinked, if they care to look under the bonnet . Generally IIs want cash returned these days, why buy oil when oil price has been dropping for months and some say is in a bear market. Let alone pay such a premium whilst valuing assets so cheaply in comparison
BoD have lost the plot. Going to be interesting to see how they and sugar coat this car crash in the circular.

Strange RNS format, looks like the most positive news starts half way through. looks promising. I expect to see some of our current prospects convert in to strong business partnerships through 23.

This subject has gone quiet. However past chatter was that shareholders where advised to do nothing etc etc. I did mean to post this earlier, until Christmas got in the way. many people wondered why the BOD did not consult shareholders.
Kistos did NOT make a firm offer for Serica, ie go hostile. If this was the case SQZ would have to push the offer out to shareholders to vote on. Looking at the SP and the current deal on the table a hostile bid at £3.75 would probably do it. Personally think there may well be another attempt by Kistos once the documentation for shareholders has been released. SQZ assets are a perfect fit for them
