Problem with warrants is that at the end of the day there can be mass dilution. Those with cheap warrants are able to fill their boots at the expense of PIs. Look at ARS and many others, the mkt cap may well rise over time but SP goes nowhere due to mass dilution
The UK does not have the leavers for these sort of leveraged plays, nor the volume. Although I do like the idea of shorts getting burnt It will disappear as quick as it arrived. Net result will be greater regulation. However an interesting sideshow in the mean time
I bought more around 142.5. Still have more to scale in if there are further drops. But it may bounce from this level if the markets hold steady and there are no major economic shocks. Lots of poor news is already baked in.
As the inoculations increase and the warm weather returns all will start to feel different. The economy will start to open up "again" for the last time and there will be a hell of a lot of pent up demand to be met. Personally I have been spending several hundred pounds LESS per month as a result of COVID and have plans to spend on house and hols etc. There will be millions like myself . The economy will boom Q3 onwards and along with that inflation. Inflation must already be starting to build as some of the basic commodity prices have shot up by 50% or more over the last 3-6 months Hence on a 12 month basis, you should get a good return on BARC
